Zafire (Dr. Z)
Zafire Fierro, PhD (Clinical & Health Psychology, Mexico)
Dr. Z is a licensed clinical psychologist in both Mexico and Canada. However, the services offered through this retreat program—including ceremonial work and psilocybin-based experiences—are conducted exclusively in Mexico, and are offered strictly under her Mexican licensure and legal framework.
She is not offering psychotherapy, clinical psychology, or any form of regulated health service within Canada in relation to this program.
With a PhD in psychology and decades of experience, Dr. Z blends modern therapeutic tools with ancestral wisdom, plant medicine, and spiritual ceremony to support emotional healing and personal transformation.
She walks the spiral path of remembrance, where existentialism, sacred ceremony, and soul midwifery meet. Her presence activates ancestral codes, sacred geometry, and the inner medicine each person carries.
While Dr. Z is trained and licensed as a clinical psychologist, her work in this context is not clinical treatment, but rather cultural, spiritual, and ceremonial in nature, grounded in her ancestral lineage, Mexican professional credentials, and the legal permissions of the country in which the
retreats are held.

Alexander, our retreat facilitator, brings over 14 years of experience guiding individuals toward self-awareness, authentic connection, and emotional healing. As an author and retreat leader, his raw, authentic approach creates a safe space for participants to explore and transform the wounds we all carry with compassion and depth.
Through his workshops and one-on-one support, Alexander combines profound insight with practical wisdom, empowering participants to embrace vulnerability and achieve meaningful breakthroughs. His empathetic and grounded presence makes him an integral part of the transformative experience at Awaken Roots.
Alexander brings grounded wisdom and embodied strength into every space he enters. As a mentor, wise rooted soul and mirror, he gently guides others back into their own rhythm—supporting the integration of ceremony through rooted reflection, stillness, presence, and the remembrance of what it feels like to return rooted to the home of the body. He holds the masculine current with humility, clarity, and unwavering respect for each journey, each rooted remembering.

Sofia is the unseen thread that weaves coherence through it all. She curates the experience behind the scenes—from branding and client care to organizing every sacred logistical detail—with loving intention and deep attunement. Her presence radiates grace and grounded joy, offering a frequency of calm, beauty, and empowered feminine leadership.
